right hand her Immaculate Heart, Our Lady of and in her other hand a green
scapular. The scapular was a piece Mount Carmel of green cloth hanging from a green string. On one side was an image of
her dressed in a long white gown
with a blue mantle but no veil. On the other side, it had her Immaculate Heart in flames pierced by a sword, with a gold cross on top which had an inscription that read: “Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us, now and at the hour of our death.”
Mary wished this scapular be widely promoted as an instrument for the conversion of souls.
